This morning bloguru was updated to resolve several user reported issues involving the following:

• Improved download blog function


• Adding/Removing buddies in the Admin User Interface


• Added functionality to prevent double posts


• Inserting a non-bloguru URL in comments


• Encoding issues with email posts

Two new skins added

This morning bloguru was updated with two new skins: Autumn Feel & Classroom Fun. Additionally, this update adds functionality to block spam email which several users had reported. If you have any comments or questions regarding this update, please let us know in the comments or via email.

Backwards compatibility

Today we deployed a new rewrite rule which takes old style URLs and converts them to the new SEO friendly URLs. This should prevent any 404 error pages from being displayed if a user comes to bloguru via past link.

Additionally there were reports of trouble posting via email. This issue is still under investigation but has been modified such that if we are unable to parse out the sender, the email will be dropped and we'll receive debug information. This debug information will help us modify our scripts to handle missed emails in the future.
