Luke 15: 1-7 (ESV)
1Now the tax collectors and sinners were all drawing near to hear him.
2And the Pharisees and the scribes grumbled, saying, “This man receives sinners and eats with them.” 3So he told them this parable: 4“What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it? 5 And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.’ 7 Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.

Psalm
Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence?
8 If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there! 9 If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,10 even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
to conform one's self (i.e. one's mind and character) to another's pattern.
① 根が聖ければ、枝も聖いv16 if the root is holy, so are the branches
② 根が枝を支えているのだから、誇ってはならないv18 if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you.
V21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either.
④ 不信仰が無ければ、枝はもう一度容易に継がれる v23 if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.
V24 how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?
