You need to specify GSM or CDMA.

When you buy an unlocked cellular phone, you need to understand two standards in the cellular communications. One is called GSM (Global System for Mobile) and another is CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access). Why?

Somebody sent email to her contacts using regular email and list all her contacts in the TO: field. This is just so bad. My email address was blasted to 360 people and I received 360 email addresses or her business contacts in Seattle area.

Soon after I received this email, I received another saying…
_____________ would like to recall the message.

She also send this to 360 people using TO: addresses. If you are blasting email like this, use email broadcasting service. It's usual does not cost you anything or very little. The way she sent email, it will cost her job.

70 years ago today, the second atomic bomb was dropped in Nagasaki, Japan. There are people in Japan protesting (still) about the usage of atomic bomb. It's 70 year too late. I have changed my last name over 25 years ago from Sarumaru to Uchikura. So, I was really surprised when I saw a direct mail address to me with my old last name. How did they get this? My have been PSSINC's company registration, because my last name was Sarumaru when I register the company.

There are only few people know my name was Sarumaru.

VPS vs Cloud

I got a email asking me to take a look at their cloud … I asked them what are the differences between the cloud and Virtual Private Server (VPS).

Here is what I got...

A virtual private server (VPS) is a virtual machine sold as a service by an
Internet hosting service.

The Cloud Service Providers, wherein we are not selling Virtual
machines but an entire Cloud Infrastructure so that you can manage and
create the end clients virtual machines in our environment.

That means, if you can configure your VPS online, that is a cloud. So I can go from 50GB to 100GB … 4GB Memory to 8GB in a flash. That makes it a cloud. I learned something today.

Because of Amazon and Microsoft, Puget Sound area has became the center of CLOUD computing.
