I went to COSTCO Japan ... I could not use COSTCO CITI VISA Card in Japan as they are still using Amex card. I had to pay cash. I wonder how it is going to change?
What a selection of precooked Bentos in Japanese supermarket. I would really love to eat those everyday.
I was having good morning walk then ...
When you talk about public transportation, Japan leads US in many ways. But most rail systems you see in Japan are not so called "Light Rail". It is full rail system to make sure they provide rapid transportation.
I am happy to see Light Rail systems being developed around Seattle, but Light Rail cannot go very fast. It takes almost an hour to go to airport from Seattle. If the traffic is not there, the same trip tales 20 minutes by car.
"None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Eat the delicious food. Walk in the sunshine. Jump in the ocean. Say the truth that you’re carrying in your heart like hidden treasure. Be silly. Be kind. Be weird. There’s no time for anything else."
I found it on the net.
Super dinner. Maguro-Ya Osaka.
This is how Japanese express happiness.

I arrive in Haoan last night. The temperature is still around 85F with humidity ... well let's just say little better than steam bath.
What is amazing is that the temperature inside the room is kept around 80F even at the airport. Not comfortable.

One of the questions you need to ask is "who" caused the problem. It is a very difficult question to ask and answer. It feels like you are pointing a finger ay someone. But as a manager you really need to know who caused the problem to see if;
(1) You provided adequate training
(2) You provided enough supervising
(3) You pick the right person with skill
It might be you who caused the problem. But the company need to know WHO so that it can avoid the same mistake by providing Training, Supervising, Documentation ....
Look closely at the center of the screen.
What a magnificent bird!
When you try to solve problem, there are things you really need to know.
Knowing "When - What - Where - Who - Why - How" is a good place to start.
I see few problem with iOS 10.0 ... I am happy to see they have released the bug fixes today. I want t make sure I get those fixes before I travel to Japan this Sunday.

1 Tuna Sashimi with Ponzu Dish
8 Small Pieces of Nigiri Sushi (Probably the size of 4 pieces)
2 Hand Roll
All that for $32.00 ...
There are people lined up to eat at this chain of restaurant.
There is not a single Japanese customer at this restaurant ... except me.
What makes this restaurant so popular?
Sushi here is very tasty but so as many other places.
Bellevue Downtown and i90 Bridge from Seattle to Mercer Island.
I just came back from Los Angeles yesterday. I have one week here in Bellevue and I am off to Japan next Sunday. I took this picture yesterday from my JetBlue flight landing at SEATAC.
Poer Outage Area
I am at the very edge.
I came back to the house with no power ... I wonder what caused it.
I was going to work but I realized there is no Internet. So I decided to sleep instead.
It 12:00am ,,, I am awake.
I took UBER from mt hotel to Log Beacg Airport ... It is usually about $50 ride on taxi cab. UBER cost me less than $20. That was my first ride on UBER. I will use it again.
the driver told me that it is 60% cheaper than taxi and I believe it.
I am leaving LA, heading back to Seattle. I heard it is raining in Seattle this morning. I come to LA every year for a charity golf tournament for three days. That's it. I will come back again next year. Is ill miss you.
I saw this on the wall of the restaurant in Studio City California ... I do not know why but I found it to funny.
Instagram is Bricked!
I upgraded my iPhone and iPad os to iOS10 ... So far there is one app that is suffering from it. Instagram became so slow, it is impossible to use. Hopefully, there will be a fix soon. I am very surprised that the popular app like this suffer from the upgrade.
I learned that when app becomes inopearable, it is called "BRICKED". Well, Insgtgram is Briocked.
The word "brick", when used in reference to consumer electronics, describes an electronic device such as a smartphone, game console, router, or tablet computer that, due to a serious misconfiguration, corrupted firmware, or a hardware problem, can no longer function, hence, is as technologically useful as a brick.
I just took off from Seatac heading to Long Beach. Nice weather. Nice view of Mt. Rainier.

Can you guess what this restaurant serves?
Longer your company being in business, more products and services you have that you feel will set your company a part from the competitors ... So you develop web site explaining what you do. Your website is cluttered with information and the people will not understand what you are offering.
Simplify your website ... Just tell people one thing that you do best. I know you do anythings, but website should not be a smorgasbord of items. Once the visitor becomes a customer, then you can start introducing other products and services.
What do you think of this mascot for NIKE?
Do you think it is a good idea?
(1) It's a great Idea!
(2) It's too dangerous!
(3) It's a good idea but technology is not there yet!
(4) You own answer, please.

You're only as fast as your slowest team member.
I went to a restaurant and one person was so slow everybody else was waiting and the there were line of people waiting to get their order in. Same thing happened in the freeway too. I really hate to see someone doing so slow on the left lane.
For my project, I needed to take picture of glasswares ... It's a lot harder than I thought. I really need a better light source than what I have in my office.
>>> Okay professionals ... I know you are laughing.
Until recently I did not know there is a 103 year old but glass company in Seattle. The owner belongs to the same golf club as I and we became friend. I am now trying to help him sell his products to Japan.
Almost al glasswares are imported from Czech Republic and is edged at Kusak Cut Glass Works in Seattle.

I was asked how I know I had to replace the memory units?
That is a very good question.
I booted my Mac Mini in DIAGNOSTIC MODE ... Hold "D" while it is booting. Then I run the diagnostics and found the memory check failed. So, I know the memory was bad. What I did not know was whether anything else was bad.
Fortunately, memory was the only bad part.
Pompom(13.5) Nano(9) Tiny(14)
Tiny, Pompom and Nano walked 2.3 Miles today as a part of the morning walk. It is quite an accomplishment for Tiny. This picture was take right after the walk. I think they will sleep good today.
I brought a carry bag so that if Tiny could not walk, I can carry him. But no problem. Good job, Tiny.

I was at Japan Fair in Bellevue today. One of the booth is FRANS chocolate company, very famous Chocolate company on Seattle. One of the products they were showing is the chocolate boxed in Japanese lacquer work.
This is a great collaboration between two completely different industries. What a great idea and product.

This is how much you have to make to buy a house in America.
You don't have to do a lot.
But do something.
If you want to know, call PSPinc.
Websites are quite powerful, but we all know it is not easy to maintain. Avoiding issues around security is tricky, and dealing with various plugins non-trivial. We find many users seeking professionally maintained technologies with direct service staff.
This is true. People are looking for website to give your a great ROI (Return on Investment) without investing much. That will not happen. Many websites you visit did not gather people just by being there. They do "Updates", "Promotions", "Marketing" and "Advertisement". There will be no ROI ion you do not invest.
But good news is that you do not have to invest a lot to have some return. There are son many companies just have web. You may be one of them. But because there aren't many companies do "Updates", "Promotions", "Marketing" and "Advertisement", if you some you will be way ahead.
