Great Price ... But it is used!
Not Refurbished!!!
Do not buy a "refurbished" computer unless it is refurbished by the company that manufactured them. For instance, it is perfectly okay to buy refurbished Apple from apple.com (you can even buy an Apple care on refurbished Apple when you buy it from Apple.) and buy refurbished Dell from Dell. If you buy them from the manufacturer, in most cases they are treated and warranted as new.
But if "refurbished" computer are from the third party ... they are nor "refurbished" ... they are "USED" computers. If you understand they are used and still like the price, it is your choice. But I discourage people from buying any used electronics.
It is hard to see Pompom’s signature tail pointing down.
I do not know if it is the chemo drug, anti-biotic medication or lymphoma, Pompom has not been eating or drinking much. He ate cheese pizza yesterday, so I got him a pizza again this morning. He was able to eat about 1/3 of 9.2oz (260g) pizza.
I hope this is dugs causing him to loose his appetite. But I need to make sure he is not suffering or in pain.
It is great to see Pompom eating solid food. May be still a small amount, but it is a huge improvement. This chemo he had last Friday was really taking a lot out of Pompom. We are getting back to old medications. I do not want the treatment to make him sick.
We went to a vet this morning. After the blood test, we know the white blood cell count is very low. We can't give him any time today. He will have to take his antibiotic medication at least until next Tuesday to avoid any complication.
Last few chemo had not been working well, so I request doctor to get back to a=what he was getting. But most importantly, Pompom has to eat. Because of this latest chemo and antibiotics, he does not have much of an appetite and he weight is down to 13.67 lbs or 6.2 kg. He weight as much as 15.8 lbs (that was too much) but 13.8 was his normal weight.
I will try to give him what he like when he wakes up. I have to give him trazodone to make him calm, which also cause him to sleep. I would like to see him eat and have more energy. But I may be asking too much. Pompom is a fighting the battle for him and me. I will do my best to comfort him.
It was another roller coaster stock market this week. The market will be closed tomorrow for "Good Friday". We need a break from the up and down market even if it is one day. People need to cool their heads.

I just noticed he has small bumps where his lymph nodes are. This is how all started. I was hoping I don’t see this again. But I think his cancer has resurfaced. I contacted the doctor. I hope we can fight this again. His appointment is set to tomorrow morning but I may need to see her today.
Pompom this morning weigh 13.6 lbs ... He lost 2 lbs when he gained the most weight. I think this is because he is not eating much since the new chemo started. I will try to feed him what he wants.
His berthing is much better and I hear no coughing. Now I am concerned about his appetite. This morning he ate little bit of bread.
One year ago today, he had his hernia surgery. He weigh 13.2 lbs at that time.
There are basically two ways you can setup your email for receiving. One is called POP (Post Office Protocol) and other is called IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol). For sending email, there is one way called SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol).
When the Internet started, most people used one computer to access email, therefore you only needed POP which is suited for single device email. But new you are accessing email from PC, Tablet and Smartphone, you need an email system that is designed for multiple devices. That is IMAP.
Let me explain the basic difference between POP and IMAP. POP is like a mail box system where all email sent to you are stored in the server until you access it. When you access your mailbox, all email are copied in to your mail software. You can choose to delete email from the server when you get your email or keep copies on the server.
IMAP works little differently. All your email comes into your mailbox like POP. When you access your email, your email software reads the emails off the mailbox and display the contents of the mailbox. You can read them, reply or create an email but the email never deleted from the server until you delete them. Mail server will mark each email *Unread, *Read. *Deleted omg the server so that other mail like your smartphone access the mail, it knows the status of each email.
If you elect to use IMAP, so you should, you should make sure all your devices are set to use IMAP. Even if one of your devices are set to POP, you will loose the integrity of the mailbox. Almost all mail software now support POP and IMAP. So you do not have to worry about whether your software wold support POP and IMAP. Except, if you use Gmail as your mail software accessing your mailbox, remember Gmail only works as POP client.

Pompom is sleepy. He ate some meat yesterday, so he is recovering from chemo. He completely lost his appetite for four days. He is breathing easier and sleeps better. I just hope he gets some more energy back.
US Stock market bounced back big time today.
I sold about half of my stocks just before that stock down falls couple weeks ago.
But I put everything back in the stock market Friday near the closing.
This was one of the biggest gain day I have had. I timed everything right ... but it usually do not work like this time. Now, the market will go down again as some big time investors are cashing in on the profit.

Pompom walked halfway around the park this morning.
Pompom is recovering from chemo very slowly. I think this chemo was a strong one. We will start Pompom on antibiotic medication on Wednesday because this chemo will reduce his white blood count.
He is still easting very little and has hard time swallowing. I will make sure he has something that is super soft.

This directly effect people's bottom line especially people who use car and truck for work. Washington State Governor is trying to add another 30cents/gallon on top of the already high price of gas. This is not cool.
I drive SUBARU OUTBACK ... I hate to be same as others but I do not want to get too much attention. 95% who drive OUTBACK do not drive my OUTBACK ... Can you tell why?
Pompom walked and did his thing this morning. And we pressure cooked some meat to maki soft. He ate some. Considering he was not able to eat at all for two days, it is a progress. It is a good Sunday.

Pompom is still very weak from the chemotherapy yesterday morning. He did not want to walk this morning. But that might be because it is very cold out. I hope this chemo drug has good effect on his lymphoma. I am keeping my eyes on him.
I also found out he has an allergy so I started giving him eye drops.
Seattle / Bellevue area hotels ... When you look at it. Even if you combine all the hotels rooms on this hotel, it will be less than The Venetian Las Vegas with over 7,000 rooms. I am sure The Venetian Las Vegas never fill all or even half the rooms, but that is how small the number of hotels here.
The State and City tax people staying at the hotels. I think it is like slapping the cheeks of the people coming to Seattle. When they are here they will spend money everywhere. Why in the world would you like to charge people willing spend money tax to come here. That is just so backwards.
According to X-ray, his airway is narrow but little more open. However his lymph nodes are still enlarged. We are starting new chemo med today to see if we can make them smaller. The side effect of this new chemo is lowering of his white blood cells. So we must start him on antibiotics as well. We are running out of medication. I hope this works.
It is incredible how volatile the stock market is. Unemployment os low and corporate profits are record high. Individual income are up ... but stock market continues to swing.
We could not go for a morning walk because of the rain.
Pompom woke up couple of times with hard breathing ... But he went back to sleep quietly after few minutes. He ate little bit of Brazilian Cheese Bread (Pao de Queijo) which I got from the restaurant I went to last night.
He will have his vet visit tomorrow morning. I hope he eats his meal this afternoon.
Pompom slept well last night but still have very little appetite. Someone suggested Hemp Oil ... But I am not sure if I want to go there. Pompom's breathing problem is not constant. It happens sometime. I will have doctor's visit this Friday.

Pompom started to breath harder yesterday. I am very worried ... The chemo drug he is taking orally does not seem to have as strong an effect as others he had taken at the vet.
His next visit is in three days. We need to make his enlarged Lymph Nodes shrink. His fight continues.
I was testing LED light for our office. I install this in my back yard ... Well, it worked too well. This is way too bright. I bought the one that is much less bright.
We have replaced our office light with LEDs but they are too white. So, I was asked to change. So, this is what they have recommend it. It is yellow.
Pompom took his medications with Croissant. Yesterday he took them with chicken jerky. He does not have bad breathing problem like he had couple of weeks ago. I think Chemotherapy making his enlarged lymph nodes shrink.
But it is like a house of cards, I do not know when it just crashes. I hope we can keep him this way for a long time. Mayumi is coming back today, so he will be alone starting tonight. I must thank Tiny and Nano to be with Pompom.
Mayumi Nakamura is finishing her business trip to Japan and coming back tomorrow. Tiny and Nano will go home tomorrow night. I think Nano will be very happy with Mayumi. Tiny on the other hand is happy with Pompom.
I managed to give Pompom chemo drug and steroid pill. That is an accomplishment. Pompom continues to breath well compared to few weeks ago. I really we can keep him this way.

Hisataka Kobayashi, M.D., Ph.D., called photoimmunotherapy. This therapy involves attaching a photosensitizer to an antibody that can selectively target cancer cells. Once in place, the photosensitizer/antibody complex can be activated with infrared light, essentially destroying the cancer cell, but leaving nearby normal cells unharmed.
4 months has passed since Pompom started Chemotherapy. This morning, after the walk, he jumped of from my car at the office parking and run to the front door of my office. He is doing great. I hope we can keep him this healthy as long as we can.
I think Tiny and Nano are with us giving Pompom more energy.
We started in-house chemo drug this morning. Unlike some dogs, Pompom does not like to eat much, so giving him a drug is a work. I think he took on ethos morning (fingers crossed).
Otherwise, he show less problem with breathing. That is a good sign. I have to give him a steroid pill ... this is a very hard task.
Pompom is recovering from chemo ... he has very small appetite. Because of that, I have a very hard time giving him a steroid pill. This morning I gave him croissant and hid a pill inside. He swallowed it without knowing there was a pill. I am not that lucky most of the time.
It was really cold this morning. 1/3 around the park, Pompom decided to go back. I had to run to catch him. I think I had my excersise this morning.

Pompom is recovering from the chemo he had yesterday. He still do no have much of an appetite this morning. He also does not like the steroid medication. His breathing is better (not 100%) and he can sleep well.
Tiny and Nano are with us. I have to prepare something frothier breakfast.
We finished today's chemo at 8:00 in the morning. To get to Tacoma by 8:00, we have to leave my house before 7:00. On top of that, the daylight saving hours has started ... I am very sleepy today.
Pompom still have enlarged lymph nodes but his airway has opened up little more. This is the reason why he is breathing better. To help him, we are starting target dose of steroid. I hope this helps. We also need to tackle his lymphoma.
Using Instagram ... I followed everyone who followed me. Most of you do the same. But when I looked at my status, I found out I was following over 600 people when I wasn't followed by only about 200 people. That is really odd because i only followed people who followed me. So the number should be the same.
Then I realized people use "Follow" to solicit you to follow them. Once you follow them, they unfollow you. That a dirty trick.
So I unfollowed over 200 people from my Instagram account. When I deleted 200, it did not affect any of my followers. So the lesson here is that you only want follow people you know or you really want to follow.
Pompom woke up twice middle of the night to cough but otherwise he slept soundly. I am not a doctor but it is amazing how he has recovered ... I hope we can keep him this way as long as we can.
Mayumi's business trip starts today. So, Tiny and Nano will be with me starting today for a week. Pompom will have another chemo tomorrow morning.

When Pompom is sick, he does not move very much or eat or drink much. But when he gets little better, he moves a lot and eats and drinks. Today, he is feeling well. He was even running at the park.
It is so easy to understand how Pompom is feeling. I am so happy when he is happy. But human emotions are different. It is not the only physical things that affects our mood. We often say thing that we do not mean and regret later. We act fine when we are not.
I think I have a lot to learn from our little family.
I still hear him breathing hard sometime but overall he is doing well. We walked his favorite park for about an hour. He has a appetite and energy level is getting better. Today is a better day than the most. I hope he keeps this up!
I come to the office every Saturday (that is if I am not playing golf) and Sunday afternoon to sit in my office and just goof around. But it is an important time for me to think about new products and business ideas. The company is doing well so that I don't really have to do any day-to-day operations. But it is very important to think about what it is we will be doing in three to five years.
After the chemo yesterday, Pompom has been eating more and going to the bathroom (outside) more. He started to cough little more in the middle of the night which is always a worry. EW are at the office now and he is resting comfortably. I really hope he is getting better.

Pompom has improved since Tuesday. He I sleeping soundly with very little coughs. He had additional chemo today to make sure his lymph nodes are back to normal size. Next doctor's appointment is Tuesday. We will x-ray Pompom to find out for sure.
It took over an hour to disassemble 2012 Mac mini Server and replaced 2 x 1TB hard disks to 2 x SSDs. With this change, this Mac Mini server with its Quad Core i7 2.3Ghz and 16 GB RAM, it should be freaking fast.
Right now, I am restoring the environment fro the time machine. If you want to do this upgrade, I really recommend you do so.
Pompom is recovering from the chemo on Thursday. The good news is that he is breathing better with few episodes of coughing. He will have chemo again tomorrow morning.
You are the customer, you have the right to choose anyone you do business with. What do you base on your decision to work with one company over others?

The answer should be all of above. But out of those three, (1) and (2) must be good enough. There is no way that the restraint you go to have the BEST food at the BEST price. But (3) is always a variable. How often don you go to the restaurant and found the new owner and you tell yourself I am not coming back.
People are looking for BEST experience and that what we should always provide. That what I ask my company to provide 24 hours a day 7 days a week. It may be just a smile, or remembering the customer’s name. You really have to work hard and what’s funny is this does not usually cost money.

We are starting new chemotherapy to combat with lymphoma today. I hope we are not too late. We are lucky that we fond this growth yesterday just because I wanted to get new procedure done. We still have some luck.
Half of those will go into one bin and other half will go to another bin.

New card came ... Only one and new one have the same exp. date. But the card number is different. I don't know why I got it. But I destroy the old one using my metal cutter.
After the appointment with a vet which can perform tracheal stent, we found out his lymph nodes are enlarged around his bronchial. That makes Pompom not a candidate for tracheal stent. Instead, it is very possible that he still has lymphoma.
We have contacted the oncologist and received following response.
I haven't received the X-rays yet, but we certainly can try alternative chemotherapy. So instead of giving him the drugs we already gave him we can try something else in hopes that it will work better.
I don't think Washington State new Gasoline Tax of 30 cents hans not kicked in ... but the price of Gas is creeping up. It has been a while I see regular gas prices close or over $3.00 mark.
I am seriously considering tracheal stent treatment for Pompom. If not, we will be just waiting for him to get worse and either die from suffocation or put him to sleep. That is not acceptable to me. He fought so hard to wain against lymphoma and won, I am not just give him up. I will call vet that can perform tracheal stent tomorrow.
He had a little bit of rough night last night. But he is resting comfortably now. I have no idea what makes him cough more. It is frustrating that there is not a effective treatment.
Pompom's symptoms are staying the same. He coughs when he is active and sleeps quietly when he sleeps. He has an appetite and everything else rooms to be normal. He is not in pain as far as I can tell.
You took out one pill from a pill case A. You try to take out one pill from a pill case B. But instead you pulled out two tablets from case B. Now both pills are mixed. You are supposed to take one A and one B.
How do you make sure you take one A and one B from this three? All pills have no marketing and look and weigh the same.
It is going up and down so much ... some people are making money for sure. There is no reason behind it other than the fact that people are trying to cash in. It will soon go back up again.
I took Pompom to a park ... he barely made a round. He had hard time breathing. He is now resting comfortably in my office. I will keep my eyes on him. Tiny seems to be working about Pompom.
