Do you remember the movie "Red Sun"?
The movie was staring Charles Bronson and Toshiro Mifune.
Actually this post has nothing to do with that except the sun looks very red today due to the smoke and ashes from the wild fires around western Washington. Unlike the eclipse, I can take a picture of the sun.
The temperature supposed to go up over 90F today but I don't think it will get there because of this smoke and ashes.
I scraped right rear on a pillar at the garage. I trusted Subaru's collin avoidance system to stop the car ... but it did not. The collision avoidance only work either inc front or back ... not to the side.
I took my car in today to Collision Car Star in Bellevue this morning. I found out there is another car that belongs to one of our employees are at the same shop. I will try my best not to refer more business to Bruce Lingle, president of Collision Car Star. But it is good to know someone there.
1987 July Issue of Discover Magazine
The End of The Universe
I just received a birthday gift from my daughter in NY. It was 1987 July issue of DISCOVER magazine. That is the year and the month I started Pacific Software Publishing, Inc.
The name if the issue is ... THE END OF THE UNIVERSE
This magazine has a compete black cover. When I searched it, I found where my daughter got this magazine. This is a cool gift. Thank you.
It is amazing to see how something are done without hi-tech equipments. Sometime we rely too much on the technologies to do things that we forgot the basics.
I heard the peak of the gas price in the US is at Labor Day Weekend ... Which is this weekend. I filled my car up today at COSTCO gas station. It is at $2.699/gallon ... It is still a lot cheaper than when George W. Bush was president. Outside COSTCO, most gas stations are charging over $3.00.
I try to put gas in at COSTCO as much as possible.
I learn from Frost Connections today at Seattle Execs meeting, that website play a major role in recruiting new employees. It is so logical but I did not think about it. Thank you, Kim.
