　　兵庫県播州赤穂産（播州灘産）の殻付き真牡蠣を言います！、
　　赤穂といえば最初に思い浮かべるのは赤穂浪士ではないでしょうか。
　　その赤穂浪士にあやかって名前がつけられたようです。
　　2013年からブランド化された、新しい牡蠣です。
　　海外への展開を見据えての名前ともいわれています。
