Red Hot Chili Peppers

The iconic 90s band is making its way to the Staples Center March 7 – 8 and you’ll likely get a good mix of some of their breakout hits such as “Californication,” “Give it Away,” and “Scar Tissue,” but they’re also touring to promote their latest album, The Getaway. You’re bound to be spellbound by Anthony Kiedis and Flea jamming together on stage – it’s like they never grow old and their music never goes out of style. Definitely a show to behold.

It’s a three-day lineup of bands from all over. Hundreds of thousands of music lovers come to camp, party, dance and sing at one of the most lively, epic music festivals in the nation. You’ll get the local performers, regional musicians you love and then you’ll also see top headliners like Radiohead, Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar on stage. This popular festival, which also features food and art aside a picturesque mountainous background, takes place in Indio from April 14 – 16 and April 21 – 23.

In May things really start to heat up for concert season. You can see iconic psychedelic 80s band The Flaming Lips at The Theatre at Ace Hotel on May 9. Prepare for a night of colorful costumes and synthesizers to complete the experience. Train will be at the Hollywood Bowl on May 13 to play some new tracks and belt out some of your old favorites such as “Hey, Soul Sister” as well. No doubt you’ll learn the catchy new songs in a heartbeat. O.A.R. and Natasha Bedingfield will be the openers for that concert. Because he is smooth like Tennessee whiskey, Chris Stapleton is set to impress everyone who comes to see him at The Forum on May 20. His raspy lyrics are hard to miss, and even harder not to feel deep down in your soul. Bryan Adams, famous for his gravelly-voiced love ballads returns to L.A. for a night at Greek Theatre in Griffith Park on May 20. Take your sweetheart and fall in love all over again. Finally, U2, one of the most mega-famous, most popular bands in the universe plays at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena May 20 – 21. If you can get tickets, it’s sure to be a once-in-a-lifetime show.
