The month of June featured Fukuoka inspired food for our Taste of Japan. Kashiwa (chicken) rice and Fukuoka style Tonjiru (miso soup with pork) with taro. Afternoon snack was Azuki-bean jelly with strawberries. You can eat very delicious strawberries called Amaou in Fukuoka.
Tomorrow is the graduation for Zo students. Kitchen staff prepared special menu to celebrate their special day. Lunch was everyone’s favorite dry curry. They enjoyed lunch with teachers. Afternoon snack was colorful scones with sprinkles.
