The bloguru aggregator was updated today with a feature that allows you to choose how the date is formatted on your aggregators. All current aggregators will continue to use the relative date format.

Spam Comments Removed

Today we took an aggressive step to remove spam comments from Bloguru by removing all comments that contained the word 'viagra'. Aggressive steps like this by the Bloguru team are rare as we work hard to ensure data integrity. If you have any questions regarding this update please let us know in the comments or via email.

We've released an update today which corrects a vulnerability in the method comments are submitted. This should help reduce the amount of spam open blogs receive. As a reminder, Bloguru recommends limiting comments to only users who are logged in. You may change your comment settings any time by clicking "Comment Manager" in the control panel. When making scheduled posts we would like to remind everyone that currently your RSS feeds will not update when your post becomes active.
