【Dinner Auction】~Friends of Japan Benefit Dinner~

Come join us for a night of drinks, dinner, and auction with live entertainment featuring renowned kokyu player Daisuke Kiba from Japan.

At the dinner, we will have both a Silent Auction and Live Auction. Many companies, organizations, and restaurants have supported us with their generous donations.

The items in the Silent Auction will include a night at Inn at the Market, an experience at Canlis, and an experience at Sushi Kashiba.

Recognized by Travel + Leisure and Condé Nast, Inn at the Market is a tranquil hideaway, just steps away from the vibrant atmosphere of Pike Place Market and the Seattle Waterfront.

Canlis invites you to dinner. Canlis’ favorite thing in the world is taking care of others, and few places can do it quite like Canlis. A truly unparalleled dinner experience.

Sushi Kashiba is owned by Chef Shiro Kashiba; pioneer of Edo-mae sushi in Seattle. Eat at the counter of Sushi Kashiba in front of Chef Shiro for a once in a lifetime experience.

The items for the Live Auction will include an experience at the restaurant Sushi Kashiba, a Hotel Andra and La Campagne package, and a private dinner for 10 by world renowned, culinary artist Scott Carsberg.

Sushi Kashiba is owned by Chef Shiro Kashiba; pioneer of Edo-mae sushi in Seattle. Eat at the counter of Sushi Kashiba in front of Chef Shiro for a once in a lifetime experience.

The Hotel Andra and La Campagne package is designed for something far greater than your average night in the city. Hotel Andra is a sophisticated, stylish downtown Seattle hotel offering world-class service while La Campagne delivers a lovely Pike Place bistro experience.

Scott Carsberg is a passionate and dedicated American chef who has worked in Europe and in America. He is a consummate scholar of cooking and hospitality business. He is a winner of James Beard Award in 2006, and The Birra Moretti Best Emerging Italian Restaurant Award. This is a dinner experience for 10 like no other.

Buy your ticket now! Tickets for the dinner can be bought on the Eventbrite page.

We are very grateful for everyone who is supporting the auction, the dinner, and Japan Fair. We hope to see you there!

The ‘Friends of Japan’ Benefit Dinner supports ‘Japan Fair’, a cultural festival held in Bellevue, WA that celebrates the Arts and Culture of Japan. This festival, previously known as the ‘Aki Matsuri’, has a 20-year legacy within the community. Japan Fair celebrates and promotes local artists, musicians, craftsmen, businesses, and community organizations who practice Japanese cultural arts or have ties to Japan.

Honoring and preserving culture is an integral part of building a stronger, more peaceful region. We hope that with the Japan Fair event, we can work together to support Japanese cultural traditions and share them with new generations. There is no doubt that with your help and contribution we may continue to grow and strengthen the bonds of our diverse Pacific Northwest Community.

At our ‘Friends of Japan’ dinner we will enjoy local wines, a three-course meal, and the traditional melodies of renowned Japanese kokyu player, Mr. Daisuke Kiba from Japan.
