Hi! I'm Michelle (Misako Sato)
Hello! Nice to meet you, all!
I'm Misako Sato. Please call me Michelle.
I am a new intern at JASSW!
I have lived and taught the Japanese language in some foreign countries; Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.
I came to Seattle 1year ago with my husband and studied English at UW for three quarters. I learned not only English but also American and international culture from the class and friends. It was so exciting and I really enjoyed it.
Now, I would like to know more about US culture. I’m excited to meet members of the JASSW and support the event and exchanging Japanese and American culture!
I look forward to working with everyone!
Best regards,

Michelle

Hello, I'm Chiriko!
Hi, nice to meet you all!
I was born in China and moved to Osaka, Japan when I was six-years-old. I am a new intern at JASSW!
I graduated from Osaka City University in 2015 and came to the US for studying MBA program in 2018. I like traveling, so I really enjoy to spend my free time in different cities and countries to meet and talk with local people and have some nice local food. I am taking care of 4 and 6 years old miniature dachshunds. They are super cute and lovely!!!
I want to learn the US culture in order to exchange and share the cultural differences between Japan and the US to many people in the world.
I am very glad to be a member of JASSW!!!

Hello! I'm Tomomi

The competition in Los Angele... The competition in Los Angeles with my teacher (5/3)
Hello everyone, I am Tomomi! I came to UW from University of Tokyo as an exchange student. After finishing the exchange program this June, I am doing this internship as Academic Training. I am happy I can stay in Seattle during the most beautiful season, summer:)

I love ballroom dancing and take a lesson every week. I like outdoors like hiking, driving (joining somebody driving....), traveling to new places, cooking, and making handcrafts.

I would like to utilize the skills and knowledge in visual design, business, and basic data analysis I learned in the class at UW to make this society recognized by more people and have bigger impact to Seattle.

Thank you for reading !!

Tomomi
