Kuniko Yamamoto holds a Master's Degree in Biomechanics and teaches No. 1 Women's Golfer Ai Miyazato how to maximize her performanc on the course. She also is the only trainer in her discipline to be retained by the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks, and even lends her expertise to Japan's most famous theatrical group, the Shiki Theater Company. In this seminar she offer Japan-America Society members a chance to brush up on skills before the upcoming Golf Tournament and improve overall health and fitness. Ms. Yamamoto uses her extensive training in yoga and presents two programs, morning in Japanese and afternoon in English. Visit www.jassw.org, "upcoming events."

We were honored to open our New Year with Consul General Kiyokazu Ota's presentaion: "Shadows and Light in Europe." The Consul General spanned his time in Europe, from years at Oxford to service across the continent, providing peerless insight into the future. "Dragon" attendees joined the "Rabbit" guests for a traditional Shinnenkai with the Japan Young Professionals Group, networking with faces new and old.
