How important is your blog?

thread
How important is your blog?
How can a seemingly child's play like blog help your business? You think nobody cares about what you eat for lunch. Well, it is true nobody really cares about what you eat, usually.

Can you answer this question?

Do you rather buy something from someone you know or complete stranger?
If your answer is "from someone you know", you are not alone.

Do you think having a blog makes you more open than the one who has no blog or any other social activities? I think you know the answer to that as well.

Blog may be a child's play, but it will make you more friendly and open. And that is not bad for your business, is it. You already have a camera with your phone, it does not take much time at all to let people know what you ate.

One Year Ago Today
One year ago today, my daughter, Anna, was admitted to the hospital for her seizure. We were all hoping to find medications to control her seizure. Instead she ended up dieting from the medications that were administered to her. Was there anything I could have done. That is a question that I will be asking for the rest of my life.

This is why we created Bloguru

thread
This is why we created Bloguru
I looked for a blogging platform before we started Bloguru service to talk about myself and my business. But all blogging platform came with some advertisements. As the blogging platform get smarter, it started to recognize what I am blogging about and start placing related advertisements. So, when I talk about data center, it started to place other hosting companies advertisements.

As a company owner, I have no interest in advertising other companies. So, I started Bloguru with no advertisement (no cost either to anyone). Free does not mean you have to be covered with advertisements.

Your company need easy way to update your home page ... possibly every week or even every day. The way to do that is to create a company blog.

Bloguru is one of the few blog system that has no outside advertisement. Companies who want to promote their service cannot afford to use the blog that could advertise other companies.
