What is the realistic no. of visitors?

thread
What is the realistic no. of visi...
When you have a web site, do you know what is the realistic goal for the number of visitors everyday?

10, 100, 1000, 10000 ...

If you are opening a restaurant, you know how many customers you like to get everyday. And usually those numbers do not reach 100,000 or 1,000,000 people. So why do so many people expect to have 100,000 visitors to their web site or blog everyday?

Most likely, people think they can sell their web site when you have millions of visitors everyday. But, chance of your web site attracting that many people are almost none.

The realistic goal of number of visitors to your web site should be no more than the number of people you meet everyday times 20. If you meet 3 to 5 people everyday, you should expect your web to attract 60 to 100 people everyday.

If your web site or blog is getting more visitors than that, you are doing a great job.

This is why I created Bloguru.

thread
This is why I created Bloguru.
When you use other BLOG and SNS sites, they slap you with advertisements. I just went to the FACEBOOK of Seattle Executives Association member company. And the right hand side of their company FACEBOOK page, I see those advertisements on the right.

Do you think that is appropriate for your business?

Bloguru.com is operates 100% commercial/advertisement free. So you will be confident that you are not promoting something that you really want nothing to do with.

How often should you Blog?

When you blog something, your blog site is updated. That means, you will have one more thing on Internet that people can find out about you. That is a good thing. You should blog as often as you can. You should blog at least two to three times a week.

Many national companies like Coca-Cola, FORD and even White House use blog and updates them every day. If you can, you should update them as often. Remember, every time you write, you are casting a ballot to your blog and your web site.
