Thank you for all the warm messages I received today.
This will be my last year in my 50s.
I will do my best to stay healthy until the day I go.
When I go, I will be meeting Anna, my daughter, and Pompom.
That is something I am very happy about.
I started swimming every morning day after Pompom was gone. I was able to do 6 laps back then, now I am doing about 18-20 laps every morning. I started to use this gadget to keep track of my swimming.
The only problem is that it counts lap each way not a true lap. So this morning it says I did 40 laps ... it is actually 20 laps. It took less than 35 minutes.
This is the first look at new Web Mail we are designing/developing for Dreamersi Domain+Web+Email hosting platform. It is now deployed to PSPin internal use, but it will soon be for all our customers' site.
As technology of 3D pruning and computerized milling advances, with the right equipment and materials, you can create your own guns that has no serial number of any traceable foot printing. This is scarily but it is just a digital data. How do you control this?
Do you agree with Cody Wilson's point of view?
If one file is uploaded, you cannot ever stop it. I am sure even NRA (National Rifle Association) is against this, since NRA represents gun manufacturers.
This restaurant/Bar/Izakaya in Japan posted the price of beer based on how polite or rude you are.
You can pay as much as 1000 yen ($9.00) if you are rude in ordering a beer. If you are polite in ordering, the same glass of beer will cost 370yen or $3.30. The restaurant owner said they have never charged anyone 1000yen but because of this publicity, the store has more customer than ever.
There are customers who used rude language just to see what happens. That was unexpected. Now the store change the policy to self served all you can drink beer. There is no need to order beer any more.
The bull market in U.S. stocks on today became the longest in history, with even President Donald Trump chiming in as optimistic investors argue that the journey is far from over.
Longest bull run in the history of the stock market. Congratulations America !!!

This car must have been sold the year (1987) that I founded Pacific Software Publishing, Inc. It is now considered and can be registered as a classic / collectable car. They are asking $19,999 ... Hmmm ... the original price was under $20,000.
As of today, I have drawn 111 images.
I guess this is my therapy.
I also write message to Pompom using the program I wrote. http://www.postinheaven.com

I played golf with Percell Johnson ... a very good friend from Arizona. He broke 100 for the first time at Aldarra. I shot 84 ... the best round of this year. What is more amazing is I shout 39 in the back nine.
Have you ever thought about or researched what it takes to sell products online?
It is not as easy as you might think for small companies. It is easier to sell a product as individual.
Data Center Opening
May 2004As if last Friday
August 17, 2018
Back in May 2004, we stop our first rack at Fisher Plaza (Currently KOMO Plaza). After 14 years, we moved out all our racks and servers from KOMO Plaza. Our new data center is located at next building with 20 times the fiber.
We were the first customer of the building and when we left, we were the last customer of the floor.
It was little smoggy (smoky) today with all the fire in Canada and Eastern Washington. I shot 88 today. It was grid enough to be counted as a handicap round.
If you buy a list from outside and blast email out to those email addresses you are SPAMMING. There i something you should know about SPAM.
United States
In the United States, most states enacted anti-spam laws during the late 1990s and early 2000s. Many of these have since been pre-empted by the less restrictive CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 ("CAN-SPAM").
Spam is legally permissible according to CAN-SPAM, provided it meets certain criteria: a "truthful" subject line, no forged information in the technical headers or sender address, and other minor requirements. If the spam fails to comply with any of these requirements it is illegal. Aggravated or accelerated penalties apply if the spammer harvested the email addresses using methods described earlier.
A review of the effectiveness of CAN-SPAM in 2005 by the Federal Trade Commission (the agency charged with CAN-SPAM enforcement) stated that the amount of sexually explicit spam had significantly decreased since 2003 and the total volume had begun to level off.[27] Senator Conrad Burns, a principal sponsor, noted that "Enforcement is key regarding the CAN-SPAM legislation." In 2004, less than one percent of spam complied with CAN-SPAM.[28] In contrast to the FTC evaluation, many observers view CAN-SPAM as having failed in its purpose of reducing spam.[
I learned from my swimming coach that the way to swim faster is not anything to do with stroke faster or kick more ... It is to reduce drag. It used to take me 13 strokes to go 25 yards ... by just concentrating reducing drag, I was able to reduce that to 10 strokes. That is 25% improvement. I swam faster and smoother by stroking slower.
Do you think there is a lesson to be learned here that can be applied to your business?
If you rely on government to take good care of you, you want warm, kind, well-mannered leader at the top. But if you want government to stay away from your wallet and welfare, you want somebody like Trump to do ... what he does.
Look what a warm, kind, well-mannered leader got us. No where. Look what ill mannered, cold, bad behaving leader got us ... Nothing ... but the private sectors are doing well.
Let's enjoy what we got while it lasts. Next 2 or 6 years ... No matter what there will be nobody like Trump after him.
Every year, Ezell's Famous Chicken takes care of 130+ hungry people after the Lenny Wilkens' Golf Tournament. Only here, we get to eat shrimp and catfish in addition to fried chickens.
No tail wing.
The plane lost all hydronic system but flew for 17 minutes by engine power control only.
August 12, 1985 ... JAL 123 (Boeing 747) from Tokyo to Osaka with full of people lost vertical wing and crushed into Mt. Otsutaka ... That is 33 years ago. 520 people lost their lives. It is the largest single plane fatality in the aviation history.
What was I doing?
I remember working as a sales person coming back to the office and watched TV showing the list of people's names. I asked what happened and learned the plane has crushed.
I fly a lot and every time I fly, I think about that day.
Side Note
Kyu Sakamoto, Japanese singer was on the JAL 123. You know the SUKIYAKI song.
I went to Aldarra to pick up my golf bag for Lenny Wilkens' Charity Golf Tournament tomorrow. I had a very nice breakfast at the club. I hope you are having a good weekend.
I just received an email from Trump Administration asking to vote for a logo of "SPACE FORCE". Do you know what the SPACe FORCE is? It will be another branch of the US ARMED FORCES like ARMY, NAVY, AIR FORCE, MARINE, COST GUARD ... and now SPACE FORCE.
I went home with the scooter last night and came back out to the office with it.
It was so much fun. There weren't very much traffic last night and this morning.
I do not like to see people driving behind me. It makes me very uncomfortable.
But I think I get used to it. If the car becomes to close to me, I will just pull over.

The following email was sent to Tesla employees today:
Earlier today, I announced that I’m considering taking Tesla private at a price of $420/share. I wanted to let you know my rationale for this, and why I think this is the best path forward.
First, a final decision has not yet been made, but the reason for doing this is all about creating the environment for Tesla to operate best. As a public company, we are subject to wild swings in our stock price that can be a major distraction for everyone working at Tesla, all of whom are shareholders. Being public also subjects us to the quarterly earnings cycle that puts enormous pressure on Tesla to make decisions that may be right for a given quarter, but not necessarily right for the long-term. Finally, as the most shorted stock in the history of the stock market, being public means that there are large numbers of people who have the incentive to attack the company.
I fundamentally believe that we are at our best when everyone is focused on executing, when we can remain focused on our long-term mission, and when there are not perverse incentives for people to try to harm what we’re all trying to achieve.
This is especially true for a company like Tesla that has a long-term, forward-looking mission. SpaceX is a perfect example: it is far more operationally efficient, and that is largely due to the fact that it is privately held. This is not to say that it will make sense for Tesla to be private over the long-term. In the future, once Tesla enters a phase of slower, more predictable growth, it will likely make sense to return to the public markets.
Here’s what I envision being private would mean for all shareholders, including all of our employees.
First, I would like to structure this so that all shareholders have a choice. Either they can stay investors in a private Tesla or they can be bought out at $420 per share, which is a 20% premium over the stock price following our Q2 earnings call (which had already increased by 16%). My hope is for all shareholders to remain, but if they prefer to be bought out, then this would enable that to happen at a nice premium.
Second, my intention is for all Tesla employees to remain shareholders of the company, just as is the case at SpaceX. If we were to go private, employees would still be able to periodically sell their shares and exercise their options. This would enable you to still share in the growing value of the company that you have all worked so hard to build over time.
Third, the intention is not to merge SpaceX and Tesla. They would continue to have separate ownership and governance structures. However, the structure envisioned for Tesla is similar in many ways to the SpaceX structure: external shareholders and employee shareholders have an opportunity to sell or buy approximately every six months.
Finally, this has nothing to do with accumulating control for myself. I own about 20% of the company now, and I don’t envision that being substantially different after any deal is completed.
Basically, I’m trying to accomplish an outcome where Tesla can operate at its best, free from as much distraction and short-term thinking as possible, and where there is as little change for all of our investors, including all of our employees, as possible.
This proposal to go private would ultimately be finalized through a vote of our shareholders. If the process ends the way I expect it will, a private Tesla would ultimately be an enormous opportunity for all of us. Either way, the future is very bright and we’ll keep fighting to achieve our mission.
Tiny may have bad a seizure this afternoon. He displayed symptoms few time in the past but this one was longer than usual. Mayumi took Tiny to the emergency room in Kirkland. I hope he recovers from it.
I went to lunch with PSPinc online marketing team. We now have two new interns from Japanese Universities. Doshisya University and Meiji Gakuin University learning about online marketing.
My father just sent me a picture of his dashboard ... it shows outside temperature as 35C ... that is 95F. Unlike Seattle or many parts of the world, Japan has a lot of humidity. It is becoming tropic. Many people has dies from the heatstrokes. Government of japan told people not to exercise, stay inside with air conditioning on, drink plenty of water and take appropriate amount of salt. If you do not have A/C at home, go to library or any government buildings with A/C.
Do you know, two years from now, there will be 2020 Tokyo Olympics ... That will be crazy hot.
I am learning from many pet owners, the loss of their pets are one of the hardest things they have remember. Pets depend their lives on you ... you control 100% of their lives and they never complain. When you loose them, you loose the most important things in your life and you will not get over.
You try to remember ... You do not want to forget ... After all, for your pet, you are everything to it. I try to keep the memories alive by drawing him.
I bought a scooter today.
No it is not a Honda Goldwing or BMW K1600 ... It is a Vespa ...
It just makes me smile.
I am sure people looking at me riding this will smile too.
No project can be managed without setting and knowing the goal. When you know the goal, you must have the target date when the project is complete. And you need to keep track the progress. It is absolutely unacceptable for anyone to say, "we cannot meed the deadline on the lastly of the project".
First you set the goal then you break it down to the smallest steps possible and proceed with review on every step. That is the only way you can manage any project.
I really would like you to try our Domain, Web and Email platform which already has over 40,000 corporate users. If I give you 1 year 90% off to try it out, would you try this?
