New Normal ... New Business Model!!!

Due to the pandemic, brick and motor retail stores are being hit hard. As of today, there is no cure or vaccine for Covid-19. However, to help the economy, Governemnt are faced to open the stores with some prevention measures such as wearing masks and social distance. But the number of infection are rising.

There are more and more people are spending more time at their home. Tat means, people are buying things using Internet. I believe this trend will not stop even when the vaccine became available. That means many businesses should consider going online to sell their goods and services.

But just selling online is not going to be enough. Besides, many business are not easy to manage online stores and sales. So, how do you adopt to this new normal?

I believe we need to create an agency or service to sell goods. The store owners just tell the agent what they have in stock and let the agent manage everything. I have been w=thinking about this since the Covid started. I am planning to put something together.

South Korea doesn't have to remain allied with US, ambassador warns

South Korea doesn’t have to remain allied with the United States as the American rivalry with China intensifies, according to a key envoy.

"Just because South Korea chose the U.S. 70 years ago doesn't mean it has to choose the U.S. for the next 70 years, too,” Lee Soo-hyuck, the South Korean ambassador to the U.S. told lawmakers in Seoul.

That statement came during a virtual appearance before the South Korean parliament. It’s the latest in a series of comments from the ambassador that have seemed to cast doubt on how South Korea will position itself as China emerges as a global force even as U.S. officials warn that Beijing is waging a "cold war" against the U.S. and democratic allies.

"I feel pride that we are now a country that can choose [between the U.S. and China], not be forced to choose,” he said in June. "As we did in our response to the coronavirus, if we wisely resolve various issues in line with our national interests based on democracy, civic participation, human rights, and openness, I believe we will be able to increase our diplomatic space in major international issues.”
