I have been complaining about slow Internet speed for last several months. Today, we had someone look and fixed the problem. It used to be 60 to 90 Mbps ... now its over 400 Mbps.

Mac Sierra ... Photos Stopped Scanning Faces

When I upgraded to Sierra, it lost all my face names.
It started scanning but little ver half way through, it stopped scanning faces.

You need to laugh Activity Monitor

Kill all the agents under Photos

I have nearly 120,000 photos in my Photos. When I upgraded to Mac OS X Sierra, it lost all the faces I entered and it started scanning faces again. Crap.

After it scanned 63,000 photos, I still had 57,000 unscanned photos. But it stopped scanning. I rebooted the system several times but no success. Then I learned the trick on the Apple support forum.

I had to kill Photos agents. After I killed them, it looks like started to scanning again. It is a good thing it started scanning but still Sierra is a very problematic. I wish I did not upgraded the OS. I am feeling Apple is loosing it's touch.

You have heard many of the brick and mortar stores are struggling. Yo hear some of the stores are closing the doors. So, how bad are brink and mortar stores suffering.

Company valuations (Number of Outstanding Stocks time Current Stock value) give you some indications. I found the chart above ... Those numbers are alarming to brick and mortar stores. And just as a comparison, take a look at Amazon valuation.

In order for the business transaction to take place, seller and buyer both must feel benefit from the transaction. If either party does not feel they are benefitting from the transaction, the transaction will not take place.

This morning I set the cruise control to 32mph and let the car drive by itself. Other than starting and steering, the car did all the accelerating and breaking. You need a lot of faith!
