My daughter, Azusa, is in Kesennuma / Minami-Sanriku where Tsunami swept the entire city. Looks like they have cleaned up a to but not much being developed.

Why does LED lights do not last 20,000 Hours?

LED lights should last 20,000 hours according to the package but it does not last that long as you know in many cases. Also, LED lights drop not suppose to heat up, but they do. Why?

Well, LED (Light Emitting Diode) does work in DC (Direct Current) but households are running AC (Alternate Current). That means, each LED light build must convert DC to AC. Yes, there is a little AC/DC converter inside each LED light bulb.

That is what is causing the LED lights to heat up. Also, when LED lights go out, it is often AC/DC converters are the one that burnt out not LEDs themselves.

I took Pompom to a hospital.

He needs

(1) All the vaccine updated
(2) Anti-biotic for his teeth infection
(3) Pain killer
(4) Blood work for next week teeth extraction surgery
(5) Teeth extraction next Tuesday

I have leave him at the hospital in the morning.

He is in pain...

Pompom is having a tooth pain starting yesterday. We scheduled for doctor's appointment Monday but I rescheduled to have him looked at 3:30pm this afternoon.

Office Space in Kobe, Japan

I had a chance to look at some office spaces in Kobe, Japan. The office space I looked at goes for about 10,000yen/3.3sqm/month. 3.3sqm is called Tsubo (坪) in Japan and is 35.5832sqf.

So 100sqf = 2.81tsubo = 28,100yen = $255.45

The only unknown at this point is the initial cost. I am waiting for the real estate person I met to send me a proposal. If I can start the development office in Japan to hire software engineers and designers ... that will be golden.

I really do not see the quality improvement on the photo over iPhone 6 Plus. It took good zoom picture up to 2x but after that it is no recommended. So far, i don't see much improvement over 6.
