マベパールは奄美大島で今も養殖はされていますが、生産量も大幅に減少しています。
いま養殖業者は田崎真珠の関連会社だけだと思います。

こちらは奄美大島産のマベパール（半円真珠）ブリスターです！

色目の綺麗さとテルの強さはやはり国産！タイ産とは違います！

丸型やハート型、ティアドロップ、オーバルにカット加工してます。
　
　　　　★主にペンダント用の製品に使われます。
