お花見の文化

今日もあったかくて、名古屋では平年より7日早く桜の開花が発表されたそうです。
今年のお花見は早めになりそうですね。

お花見と聞くと、なんだかウキウキしてきます！
外国人はどうなのかな、と思いますが日本ガイドには必ず桜の写真が載っていたりして、けっこう認知されています。
日本各地のお花見スポットを行くツアーもあり、毎年人気のようです。

桜の開花予報：Cherry Blossom Forecast
Because temperatures in February and March were above average in most parts of Japan, the cherry blossoms are expected to open several days ahead of their average schedule this year.

There are many dozens of different cherry tree varieties in Japan, most of which bloom for just a couple of days in spring. The Japanese celebrate that time of the year with hanami parties under the blooming trees.

日本の花見は野外、それも公衆の中で飲酒をして大騒ぎをしますが、これは米国では御法度のようですね。

私も昔からみっとも無いと思ってはいますが・・・
