It is not like western countries where Internet is a free service a the airport. In Beijing, I had to scan my boarding pass at the machine to receive one time pass code which includes my name. I guess they track every site I went to.

I flew Air China (Not to confuse it with China Air whioch is Tawaneese based), You are not allowed to turn on iPhone even with Airplane Mode. The country that is becomming one of the post powerful nations in the world, it is still a very closed and conrolled country.

I guess information is more powerful than the government and they know it.
