Hello I'm Eriko
Hello JASSW staffs,

My name is Eriko Terasaka and I started working at JASSW as an intern on June 7th. I am from Japan, Chiba and I had studied Economics at Waseda University in Tokyo expected to graduate next year.

I recently finished my one-year studying abroad program at University of Washington. While the program, I assisted in tutoring two college students who were studying Japanese.

I decided to Join JASSW because I joined the Washoku event, which are held by JASSW and thought that expanding Japanese culture and deepening the relationship between Japan and America are interesting and important.

It was nice to meet you.

Hello, I'm Momoko!
Hello, my name is Momoko. I'm from Iwate prefecture in Japan.
I started the internship last Friday and I will be here at JASSW for a month until March 18.

I used to come visit Seattle often when I was studying in Montana last year, and I came back as an intern this time. I love Seattle so much because this city is beautiful and has many attractive places to see! Seafood is fantastic as well.

My goal of this internship is to learn networking skills, and to acquire skills needed at workplace in general. Also I find it fascinating to see how Japanese who live in the states orchestrate themselves in American work environment.

I look forward to connecting with you all!
Best regards,

Momoko

Hello, I'm Nori.

thread
Hello, I'm Nori.
Hello.

This is Nori, working at city office in Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan.
I worked at JASSW as an intern four weeks, and had so nice experience.

My job in JASSW was mainly two things. First was to contact with Japanese printing company to make original files, brochures, and DVD that can help us promote America in the Schools (AIS) program. Second was to be a staff at Holiday Celebration Dinner and Auction that held on December 2nd, 2015.

Now, I came back to Japan, but my job as an intern in JASSW has not finished.
Because, my boss Akiko is coming to Hokkaido and trying to spread AIS program!
I hope many students in Japan to watch AIS program, and to take an interest in American culture. I also hope that AIS program help many students in Japan to become interested in studying abroad to gain international business and communication skills.

I looking forward to see you if you have a plan to come to Hokkaido!

Thank you.

Nori
