Microsoft XBOX Team invited children from Tohoku to see their offices and they got to play some of the games. But at the end, each child received a XBOX Console and Kinect. Some of the kids lost their game console to Tsunami ... Now they have brand new XBOX. Thank you Microsoft.

8 children and 2 teachers from Tohoku arrived today. They are going to spend next two weeks in Seattle learning about living in America. Welcome to Seattle/Bellevue. I saw this in Tokyo on my way from the airport to my hotel. Thousands of people are demonstrating in Tokyo to stop nuclear reactors from restarting. What's funny is that there are try few news coverage by media in Japan.

The office temperature is set to around 28C (81F) in Japan. I do not think it has anything to do with conserving energy. People here, specially female workers, complain about the room temperature being too low. I don't think it is productive to have the room temperature this high.
