現在、サッカーの欧州選手権が開催されていますがポルトガル代表のロナルド選手が相変わらず健在です。2008年にマンチェスターユナイテッドで来日した時に運よくチケットが手に入りガンバ大阪との試合を観戦することが出来ました。スタジアムの観戦者の多くがロナルド選手のプレイに大歓声でどちらがホームのチームかわからない試合でした。そのロナルド選手の先日の言動が話題に。記者会見でスポンサーの清涼飲料水の瓶をどけて水を要求したところその企業の株価が4％下落したとのこと。超一流プレーヤーの行動や発言はそれだけでも経済に大きな影響を与えるんですね。
