65 companies have submitted their logos to be placed on the first Seattle Executives Associations Map. We are still waiting for about 40 more.

Even if you do not send in your logo, your name will be on the map. So, you do not need send in your logo if you do not want to see it on the map.

If you are sending a logo, please make sure you send it in JPG, GIF, BMP, PNG, TIFF, EPS, PS format with at least 800 pixel wide. Also, to place your logo on the right place, please end in your address as well.

Please send the logo to SEA office.

for SEA 2010 Dinner Auction

Watch for your invitation to this year's dinner auction ~ it will be in your mail in the next few days. May 20 is the date. Crowne Plaza Hotel is the place. Doors open at 5:30, so come early, enjoy a glass of wine and be the first to check out the Silent Auction Tables!

Raffle tickets will go on sale at next week's meeting. This year's prizes are pretty great! A ticket give you the chance to win a Nintendo Wii (with various games/accessories), an Apple iPad, or a HD Flat Screen TV!

The Auction Committee would like to thank everyone for their generous donations!

If you haven't turned in your donation forms, please send them to the SEA office ASAP.

Remember, the auction contributes directly to the associations bottom line. Without it, we may need to rethink our budget.

Next Week is LEADS DAY: Be Thinking

Next Wednesday, April 21, is Leads Day and now's the time to think about those leads you'd like to receive and to ask your fellow Execs for some help. It will also be a day when you can write down all the leads you've given verbally over the past few weeks.

Take some time to think about your wants and needs and write down what you have to share!

Ask the Pro about YOUR Financial Questions!

Next Wednesday, April 21, Tom Broetje of CFO2Go will lead an Ask A Pro session on understanding core financial metrics. Maybe it's not a fun topic, but Tom is sure to bring in some of his humor and make it interesting and meaninful for your business!

This session is appropriate for all Execs, your financial managers, operations managers and anyone with budget responsibility.

Seattle Execs 2010 Speaker Series will feature Don Brunell, President of Association of Washington Business next Wednesday, April 14.

Membership of Association of Washington Business includes major employers like Boeing, Microsoft and Weyerhaeuser, however, 90 % of AWB members employ fewer than 100 people. More than half of AWB’s members employ fewer than 10.

Mr. Brunell will address the state's economic forecast, the state of business in Washington state and what businesses should do to prepare for the remainder of 2010 and beyond. Your business colleagues are encouraged to join us for this meeting.

We just wanted to remind you that the homebuyer tax credits will expire at the end of this month. An eligible taxpayer must enter into a binding contract to buy a principal residence on or before April 30, 2010 and close on the home by June 30, 2010. So if you or anyone you know is in the home buying market please contact us right away.
