SEA Associates Group - Mark Sparks

thread
SEA Associates Group - Mark...
Associates Group - Building on the basics to generate business in 2010

At yesterday’s meeting, Mark Sparks of Visual Media Group and president of the Associates Group explained his goal for the group to stand out as the sales and business generating arm of Seattle Executives.

One of the ways the Associates will become more involved with the main body of Execs is by attending at least one Wednesday meeting a month. This provides the opportunity to network with the main members, see who they are and learn what sort of leads they need, as well as let them know what sort of leads the Associates need.

Another new direction is designed specifically to keep Associate members’ names in front of the main members, in order to generate interest and increase membership in the Associates Group. This is called ‘The Marketing Minute, Brought to You by the Associates Group’. An idea generated by Charmel Bowden of Turks Head, this minute will become a regular part of the Wednesday luncheons and feature a marketing or sales suggestion for the entire group.

Sponsoring a member in the Associates Group is a great idea for all Execs. If you’d like more information about the group contact SEA Office at 206-352-3955.

SEA Past President Leads Meeting

thread
SEA Past President Leads Meet...
Yesterday's Execs meeting was lead by past president, Gary Beck of Republic Parking Northwest.

Why?

No, Ken Uchikura of Pacific Software Publishing, Inc. and current SEA president, wasn't absent from the meeting!

As part of his term Ken wants the membership to see how some of the meetings were run in years past. To that end, Ken has asked a different past president to lead one meeting each month until June.

Who else is returning to the podium? In the upcoming months we'll hear from Tom Broetje (2002) of CFO2Go, Ralph Bruksos (1979) of Training Consultants Company, Brian Quint (1998) of Aqua Quip Pool & Spa and Jeff Altchech (1997) of Temporarily Yours.

Liz Talley of WINDERMERE REAL ESTATE N.W., INC. and all members of the Leads Committee have a new Leads Day planned for next week. Everyone has business wants and needs . . .let your fellow Execs provide some help!

To prepare for the meeting and to get the most benefit from it, the committee suggests you take some time to think about your wants and needs.

1. What are you working on NOW?

2. What are your specific wants and needs?

3. How can SEA members help you? (action points that can convert conversations to connections to green lead sheets)
