Taking FOAMY 3,700 feet back in the Devil's Cave System - well, that's just cool!

Ben Griner of PerSyst Consulting took FOAMY, the little white foam truck from DataSite Business Archives, on his latest diving adventure in Florida. He and his team of divers took FOAMY to the end of the line, but the cave is so tight for the last 1000 feet they were unable to get divers side by side to take a picture so this shot was taken at around the 2,750 foot point. This is a high flow system (underwater river) with pretty heavy current.

Here's what it takes to make a dive like this!

4,000 lbs of gear (thanks, Larry Madison of NYK Logistics) 18 tanks 4 DPVs (underwater scooters) 3.5 hours underwater

WOW, you bet that's cool!
