Both Bellevue and Seattle Megumi Preschools are on regular hours.
The month of June featured Fukuoka inspired food for our Taste of Japan. Kashiwa (chicken) rice and Fukuoka style Tonjiru (miso soup with pork) with taro. Afternoon snack was Azuki-bean jelly with strawberries. You can eat very delicious strawberries called Amaou in Fukuoka.
Tomorrow is the graduation for Zo students. Kitchen staff prepared special menu to celebrate their special day. Lunch was everyone’s favorite dry curry. They enjoyed lunch with teachers. Afternoon snack was colorful scones with sprinkles.

Our kitchen staff featured Italy for "Taste of the World" in May.
Today’s school lunch is Jajamen. Jajamen is an udon dish, topped with miso meat sauce with thin sliced cucmbers, and easy to eat even on hot summer weather days like today.
Summer camp at Megumi Preschool will start on June 24th for school age children!
The mornings will be focused on the daily activities. For the afternoons, there will be a weekly curriculum of varying hands-on-activities to cover historical Japanese culture. We have so many fun activities that will just make the time fly by! After a day of learning, there will be a delicious lunch awaiting; our nutritious Japanese lunches will replenish more than enough energy until the day is over.
