In June, we featured Russia for Taste of the World. Borscht, baked salmon with dill, and Olivier salad and blini.
For today’s school lunch, we featured Greek food for “Taste of the World.” We had moussaka, the most well-known Greek casserole dish with lots of vegetables. We also had pita bread with hummus, and Greek salad, which is made with vegetables, feta cheese, and dressed with olive oil. For afternoon snack we had baklava, a classic Greek dessert pastry made with layers of filo filled with garbanzo beans.
Tatsuo and Taka, Kamishibai artists from Nagoya visited Megumi in February. Tatsuo performed striking stories and Teru showed his Illustration.

We are looking for staff who can work full time or part time. We will give priority who like kids and are cheerful, responsible, those who can work from Monday to Friday until 5:30 pm.

Did all of you spend an enjoyable time in winter break?
Our kitchen staff prepared special menu for the school lunch. It was a fun lunch with the taste of the mood of Japanese New Year.
In honor of kid’s day on May 5th we made a huge kids day carp (Koinobori). The children made each scale one by one painting it their favorite colors. Finally it turned out to be a rainbow carp. As soon as we hung up the finished carp the room immediately lit up.
