Zo class children have practiced Okinawa Taiko for their Holiday Concert. And today we had a chance to see a real Okinawa Taiko performance!! The children experienced hitting big taiko and they also performed taiko with the performers.
It was a good experience for us.

I am overjoyed to let you know that, in recognition of Megumi Preschool celebrating 30 years since its founding, King County Executive Dow Constantine has proclaimed June 18, 2022 as “Megumi Preschool 30th Anniversary Day”.
We would like to share this great honor to the countless people who have offered us their support since its inception; including the parents and children who attend every day, graduates and their families, the staff, and the greater Seattle community. It was given to all members of the Megumi family, and so we would like to express our profound gratitude to them all. While working hand-in-hand with everyone, we have been able to provide a superior environment for children’s growth and learning, and we will continue to strive to contribute to the local community.

Side dish: Asian-Style Potato Salad, Asparagus and Carrots with Sesame Sauce, Cauliflower Salad with Ham and Corn, Carrot Egg Scramble with Sweet Soy Sauce, German Potatoes, Kale and Cranberry Salad, Sweet Kidney Beans, Macaroni Salad, Renkon (Lotus Root) Salad with Cucumber and Bacon, Soybeans with Chikuwa

*1 Administrative staff (full time or part time)

Extra hour pay will add according your qualifications and years of experiences.

The 2nd annual US-Japan Friendship Coming of Age Celebration will be held virtually in 2021. We won’t get together in person, but we can still connect, create and celebrate this special moment together. The benefit of being virtual is that we can welcome SEIJIN from all over the USA. SEIJIN-shiki planning committee members are working hard to organize another amazing SEIJIN-shiki !

New SEIJIN qualification:
You do not need to be Japanese to be recognized as SEIJIN!
We welcome anyone whose birthday falls between January 1999 and March 2001 and resides in the USA.

The first 200 registrants will receive SEIJIN certificates and mementos in mail. Please register today!
