We are aware of not adjusting to Australian Daylight Savings time now. We will deploy automated daylight savings time adjustment this week. The time will be correct when we deploy this software upgrade.
We are currently developing the system upgrade to adjust the clock to Daylight Saving Time automatically. We should be able to deploy this update sometime next week. This will eliminate the chance of us not adjusting when DST starts or ends.
We will be rewriting some of the old PERL code in http://www.clocklink.com to PHP to clean up for easier update and maintenance. The first order of business is to look into the timezone settings and their handling of daylight savings time.
We have just completed our first home made server for disk access intensive application such as http://www.clocklink.com. This server uses ultrafast intel processor with dual Solid State Disk (SSD) for ultra fast disk access.
This prototype will be used as one of the http://www.clocklink.com servers for farther testing and refinement.
Thank you for participating in our "Clock with No Link" survey. As an appreciation, we are releasing one (just one for now) clock with no link on Monday, October 4. We would like to see just how many more people will use our clock if there was no link. Please come visit http://www.clocklink.com on Monday to get your link free clock.
ClockLink.com provides the most widely used Web clock in the world with over 30 million views around the world. In addition, clocks can be set to display any time zone in the world, so they are not only decorative but very practical as well. Use it to show what time it is in your area. There is no charge to use any of the clocks on your website or blog and all clocks are built using HTML5.
