Kenichi Uchikura is the founder and CEO of Pacific Software Publishing, Inc. (PSPINC), a technology company based in the Seattle area. My camera is back from the repair

I made a scratch on the lens and it was showing on the picture I was taking. I sent it to Canon repair two weeks ago to get it repaired. It came back today and there was no charge.

They found something wrong with lens assembly and replaced the whole assembly including the lens. It was under warranty. I was expecting to pay over $100 for the repair, instead I got it back for free. I do know if there was something wrong with the assembly but it was nice of Canon to send it back to me for free.

I will recommend Canon if you are in the market for a camera.
