IRIDeS(イリディス)のロゴマークについて

東北大学災害科学国際研究所、通称IRIDeS(イリディス)。そのロゴマークが深い。「災」の字を反転した文字になってあり「禍を転じて福と為す」から「災害転じて……」ということなのだろうか。
