公共事業
アメリカでは公共事業の多くが、その事業（工事等）を行う業者のためのプロジェクトになってしまう場合が多く、税金を支払う人たちのことを考えていない場合が多い。残念ながら日本でも同じようなことが起こっている。
ただ、国鉄のように民間企業になることで国民への税金という意味での負担が減る場合もある。アメリカでもこのように民間企業の公共事業への転化が進めばよいのではないだろうか。


I believe Shinkansen (新幹線: New Core Line) has the most on time and safety record of any mass transit system in the world. One of the most incredible accomplishments of Japanese engineering.
In the US, many public projects are for those who build them, not for the people who use them or pay for them. I like to see more public projects being developed and operated by private companies.
