1990 Mercedes-Benz 560SEL 'Nagoya' Hearse. This is an Authentic Japanese Buddhist Temple Shrine Hearse built in Japan. The "Reikyusha" or hearse as it translates to English, is used in traditional Japanese funerals and the 'Nagoya' style, such as this example, is much more ornate than other models. Typically, each of these shrines has been uniquely adorned and this incredible example boasts an exterior that is gilded in gold leaf and, from the amazing brass-shingled roof to the impeccable piano-black finish, the design and finish work is extraordinary. The inside of the temple is just as decorated and ornate as the outside and features the slide out. The craftsmanship that has gone into creating this shrine is indescribable, it is truly a car that must be seen in person, as mere words alone cannot convey the beauty of this unique Mercedes.

The car itself has only 30,008 miles (documented) and is finished with a rich burgundy leather interior in the main driving area. Its V8 is capable of handling all the extra weight of the shrine while still maintaining power and reliability. Finishing this one-of-a-kind car are Mercedes-Benz parking poles and a self-leveling suspension.
