A Free Set of Golf Clubs

Few weeks ago I traded in my old golf clubs (Titleist & Callaway) to Taylormade Preowned site and I got $545 credit. I used that credit to purchase

- Jetspeed TP Driver
- Rocket Ballz Stage 2 Hybrid #3 and #4
- TP Irons #5 ~ PW

I stil have few dollars left at the site.
I combined those club with Taylormade Wedges 52, 56 and 60 and my Callaway putter to create a complete set.

I have purchase a Lens from canon online with free shipping. With the lens purchase it came free with Canon photo paper (5 sheets).

A box was delivered this morning from FedEX. I opened, the box and I did not find the lens I purchased but the 5 sheets of photo papers. That's it. Canon used the FedEx shipping fee to send me a packet of 5 photo papers. Are you kidding me?

The lens I ordered did not arrive today. Thank you for those free papers but what a waist of shipping fee.

Even thought it is a form letter, they must have taken them long tome write. But I do not have a patience to read all that…

Soon or later your computer will break. You know that is the fact.

Since it will break, there are only few things that you can do to prepare for it. One of the things that you always have to do is to make sure you have at least one back up of everything important. But remember, your backup is also done on the computer, so it can break too.

One of our offices had their file server broken this week. Because it was RAID based server, people did not think it can break. Well, it did and we lost all saved files and had no backup for about a year.

Think about your office. What is going to happen if your file server, email server or web server was broken beyond repair. Can you recover from it? When the company like us (IT Professionals) can loose data, it might be a good time for you to look what you have.

Last Japan Trip of 2014

My next japan trip will be my last japan trip of 2014. Believe it or not, I have two golf outing already planned for next 10 day trip to Japan. Yes, my main reason to go to japan is to play golf. ;-)

Kinnding a side, the traveling to Asia is getting very expensive. So far I manage to to find discounted business class tickets to Japan, but the way the rice is moving I would have to use economy class to fly to japan again. That is not cool but necessary.

After waking around the Medina park, when I walk back to the off-leash area, I let dogs go. Pompom run all the way to the other side of the park and disappeared.

I had to walk with Tiny and Nano to look for him and I fond him picked up by the another dog owner concerned about him being lost.
Pompom was happy being held by a lady.

I have sent almost all my old golf clubs to Taylormade Trade-in online. I have done this before and it is very easy. Just list all the clubs that you need to trade-in and they will send you a FedEx shipping label (PrePaid). I box the clubs and bring them to the FedEx. That's it. I am waiting for them to send me a credit.

The user interface is the tool to get to your application programs. Once you are in the application program, you want to move between the application programs as quickly and seamlessly as possible without going back to the initial screen.

Start screen "KAK Metro Screen" is great for a smartphones which as very small screen. Having the open App icons line up at the bottom is great but why can't I keep all the most used App icons at the bottom and get rid Start screen. Instead, start button should show the list of Apps available.

Well, that what we had as Windows 7. PC's are not smartphones or tablets. I still like Windows XP or Windows 2000 design better.

I just renew one of the company cars license tab. The car is all electric Nissan LEAF. As you can see, there is a special fee called "Electric Vehicle Fee" of $100 added to the tab. So now the government want to penalize people driving EV. What a hippocratic idea is this? And on top of that there is RTA (with I have never used) tax of $85. What the hell with that?
