EVを買うほどガソリンは高いのか？

私の場合1年間で走行する距離が多く見ても8,000マイルで、私の車の平均燃費が 20Miles/Gallon と考えると、年間に必要なガソリンは 400ガロンということになり、その価格が今日の価格だと $1,864 ということになります。
この $1,864 をセーブするために EV を買うことに意味があるようには思えないのですが。
EV を買うとしたら環境への配慮だとおもいます。でも本当に EV は環境に良いのでしょうか？
EV の方が不便になります。
私は EV に反対ではありません。その証拠に Ford Mustang Mach-e を持っています。
でも流石に2台共を EV にしようとは思いません。
Today, I filled up my car with gasoline at Costco, which is the most affordable option in this area. In my case, I drive a considerable distance within a year, around 8,000 miles. Considering my car's average fuel efficiency of 20 miles per gallon, I would need approximately 400 gallons of gasoline per year. At today's price, that amounts to $1,864. Considering this cost, I'm not convinced that buying an electric vehicle (EV) would make sense solely for the purpose of saving this $1,864.
If I were to purchase an EV, I believe it would be more for environmental considerations. However, I'm not entirely convinced that EVs are genuinely better for the environment. EVs can be inconvenient in certain ways. I'm not against EVs, as evidenced by the fact that I own a Ford Mustang Mach-E. However, I don't plan on converting both of my vehicles to EVs at this time.
