This is such a fast moving industry, you need to put big money behind the R&D or get out the way. Nokia was facing the same fate ... why did Microsoft by Nokia???
Second attempt to try PROXY server to wrap all out email servers from external IPs failed. PROXY makes connections so slow that email are not being copied to subfolders on the IMAP server.

Do you have a system to share your address book on your PC with your Tablet and Smart Phone? If you are a Mac user and you use Macintosh, iPad and iPhone, you have iCloud. If you use Microsoft Exchange, you can do this if you use Windows PC, Windows Surface and Windows Phone. If you use Gmail on your PC, Mac, Tablet and Smart Phone.
But if you use any mixture of those things, you will have a hard time syncing your address book among the devices. PSPINC created ContactManage service which enables you to Sync all those devices.
