PSPINC is asking people to sign up for its cloud drive service called Pelican Drive.

Pelican Drive is an Internet (cloud) base storage service designed, built and operated by PSPINC in Bellevue, Washington. As a part of effort to make this service better, PPSINC is looking for 1000 beta-testers who will receive 1 year of 10GB drive service for FREE.

Problem with Alaska Airlines

Today, Alaska Air is not operating normally because all of their computer terminals lost connections. Alaska Air uses Sprint as their dateline and according to the news this morning, Sprint fiber is not working making impossible to verify customer's booking.

Where is the redundancy?

Mayumi Nakamura, CEO of PSPINC, arrived in L.A. this morning and waiting for her flight from L.A. to SEA on Alaska. I hope she can come back to Seattle.

Another Phishing Mail

This is a phishing email pretending to be a PayPal. Why do I know this is a phishing? Because it came to my unused email account. ken@pspinc.com is my old email address and I don't use it any more. So, any email that comes to ken@pspinc.com is SPAM, Virus or Phishing email. I just report the one that is very bad.

We are currently experimenting the expansion of FTP Access Control by adding acceptable IP list by country. For now, we have developed the system to recognize Japanese IPs. With this technology we are testing, soon we can offer FTP access only from the US. This may eliminates many unauthorized FTP access from other countries.
