金魚草の花

この花も春をよぶ花です。地中海沿岸原産。江戸時代後半に日本に渡来したそうです。春の南房総ではたくさん温室栽培されています。花が金魚のおちょぼ口に似ているところからこの名前になったと言われています。種子からは良質の油がとれるそうです。
