創業時（明治7年）より、女将　「智恵（ちえ）」　の名にあやかり　「智恵美人」　と名付け
140年に亘り、日本酒を製造。

仕込み水に使用されている天然水は、食のオリンピックともいわれる世界的コンクール
「モンドセレクション」　において3年連続最高金賞を受賞。
3年連続最高金賞を受賞する事で　 「国際最高品質賞」　の栄誉を受けました。
