ワシントン州シアトルから３００ｋｍ離れた町ポートランド。クルマで３時間弱で到着します。

ワシントン州とオレゴン州の間にはコロンビアリバー（川）が流れていて、この写真はワシントン州を離れてオレゴンに入る橋の上で運転しながら撮影したものです。

この日は暑かった・・・３５°ありました。それでも日本と違って湿気がないので助かります。

３５度は高いですね。でも日本では、それに湿度がともないますから地獄です。
カラット暑いなら気持ち良いんでしょうが。
