シアトルのライトライル・・・これは危険だ・・・事故になる

Vebyのダウンタウンに走っているシアトルのライトレール、今日散歩していたら横を通ってきました。静かな電車なので横を通るまで気づきませんでした。でもこのメールの横見えるようにフェンスが全くありません。しかも静の電車が走ってきたら連絡を歩いていたら完全にひかれてしまいます。

日本ではよほど田舎でなければ、または路面電車でない限りは、線路の横には必ずフェンスがあって人が入れないようにしてあると思うのですが、これもしかしたら路面電車扱いなのかなと思うような設計です。でも路面電車だったら車も走れるはずなのでこれは電車専用の線路ですよね。となるとフェンスがないのはあまりにも危険すぎると思います。絶対に人だけでなく動物もひかれてしまいます。

The light rail in Seattle's downtown area is a disaster waiting to happen. While taking a stroll today, I encountered the light rail running through Veby's downtown. It's a quiet train, so I didn't notice it until it passed by. What's alarming is that there are no fences alongside the tracks, as evident from this email. Moreover, if a silent train approaches, there's no warning, and pedestrians walking nearby could easily get hit.

In Japan, unless it's in a remote area or a tram line, there are usually fences along the railway tracks to prevent people from accessing them. I'm wondering if this design might be treated as a tram line. However, if it's designated for trains only, then the absence of fences is extremely hazardous. It poses a danger not only to humans but also to animals, and it's something that needs immediate attention.
