majority of PSPINC's revenue comes in a form of Japanese Yen. When Yen gets stronger, we make more money in currency exchange. Compared to last February, japanese Yes is more than 10% weaker … that means, we make 10% less money from Japan.
But for last one week, Japanese Yen has gone up by about 3%. That is a good news for us.
We took a delivery of brand new HP printer from the cartridge Family this morning.

4 more days to Super Bowl … this city is turning blue and green. Here is the picture of T-Mobile HQ in Bellevue. It usually lights up in pink, but starting yesterday it is blue and green.
I saw a heron at the Kelsey Creep Park where I walked dogs this morning. It is very nice to live in the city where you can see birds like this.

I was at a restaurant this morning and saw this pictured device and wondered what it was. I checked it on the Internet and found this is a 3G/4G router that you failover to when the primary Internet connection failed. In this case, if the primary Internet connection failed and unable to process your credit card, this device will connect your credit card reader to Internet using 3G/4G. Interesting!!!

I have not seen this huge airplane for a long time.

This is what we deal with everyday … No it is not this bad.
It's a beautiful Friday morning here in Bellevue.
Daylights are getting longer by day and it becomes easier to wakeup in the morning.
We took last several months to design and implement the new email software with new servers and storage system. They turned out to be faulty and unstable. We have to rethink the design and implementation in last one week. The system is now more stable, but we are very sorry the new system caused many headaches.
I have not gone home before 11:00pm all this week including last Saturday and Sunday. I am getting too old for this. We will get this right.
I went to DIXIE'S BBQ for lunch. This was the first time in years. Actually the last time I was there, the Man was there. Because there were no cars, I bought the place was closed. Well, it was open.
I got pulled pork sandwich with little bit of the man Sauce. The man might be gone but this recipe is still there ann kicking.
There seems to be many people interested in 1966 VW BUS I posted when I was in San Diego. It is an inventory at BAYSIDE AUTO. I have met Mr. Fukuda there. Please contact him if you are interested.

It is so easy to talk to a golfer about business using golf as an example. When you do something and if you do not report that, how bad the penalty is that? You have done you thing and we are talking about just reporting.
Well, how much penalty is that that you did not write your score or report the wrong the score when you at the golf tournament?
"DISQUALIFICATION"
That is right … not reporting or reporting wrong is not one or two stroke penalty. It is a disqualification. Think about that next time you forgot to report.
My Sony wireless headphone died last night. It just stop working. It's time for a new one. I do have many in ear headphones but I want one that covers my ears and I would like to get wireless one.
I looked at BOSE but it was Bluetooth. I used it mainly on my MacPro and it has no Bluetooth.
How can San Diego be so sunny and warm and Seattle be cloudy and cold?
It is only little over 2 hours away.
I groomed him … may be bit too short. He is cold now.
I should not be comparing the weather toSan Diego, but it is really cold here on Seattle. No sign of sunshine either.

It is about 30 degree cooler here in Bellevue compared to San Diego. It was not raining today but it was nice. I like it here.
Those two were really excited to see me. I am very happy to see them too.
From 80F to 45F, Sunny to Cloudy. I am back in Seattle from San Diego. I actually feel better.
My trip to San Diego is almost over. I'm at San Diego Airport waiting for my flight. I had more sun in last five days than I do during the summer in Seattle. It's little too much. I feel like a vampire who cannot stand direct sun.
I need a break from this bright lights.

It was 19 Years ago today the great Hanshin-Awaji earthquake hit my home town. I got a call from a client telling me about the quake. I call my parents in Ashiya. My call got through and I talk for few minuets to make sure everyone was okay. Then the phone went dead for 3 days. Over 6,000 people died and cities were devastated.
Did you know Jack in the Box headquarters is located in San Diego?
I do not know that.
Jack in the Box has a great marketing strategy.
It does feel like summer ... The temperature is over 80 degree but breeze feels nice. I was at Pacific Beach yesterday and saw people surfing. No wonder many people want to move to San Diego.
Arizona is nice but there is no beach in Arizona.
It does not look like COSTCO ... It must be the remains from the old PROCE CLUB. This COSTCO is somewhat close to La Jolla where rich people live. That might be the reason why they have such a collection of expensive liquors.
When i am in Bellevue, may day starts with walk in the park with dogs. Then I have morning meeting, take care of SNS and have lunch. Then I have few more meeting and work on the design or review the products and services. When I realize that I have done all that it is already dark out. I prepare dinner and feed dogs then I think about my own dinner. I usually work until 10 to 11pm and go home.
Here is San Diego ... I have no such a routine and it is up to our San Diego staff to setup meetings. Time moves very slow here. I think the weather has something to do with it too. It is a very once to place to visit. But I have to concentrate of helping San Diego PSPINC expand its business.
What can I do?
My business strategy is "Do it, and if it does not work, change it." But people here are very conservative and not ready for big change.
I'm eating breakfast. Where do you think I am?

This car looks really good in California ... don't you agree?
100% Electric Fedex Delivery Truck. It has less than 100 mile range. It is not much use but enough for downtown delivery, the driver said. It is more for the show than anything else.
The temperature went up to 86F today. I cannot believe it is middle of January and I am only 2.5 hours away from Seattle. If I live here, it will be very difficult to stay inside and work. I admire people working indoor in San Diego.
I arrived in San Diego to help PSPINC San Diego people for developing http://www.sandiegotown.com, a Japanese language portal site. I had lunch at Cafe Coyote in Old Town, San Diego. We sat outside because it is 79F. Yes, it is 79F here.
Sunny San Diego is waiting for me.

Seahawks won its first payoff today. It was such a thrilling game. I loved it.
It easier to watch blow out but I really enjoy this kind of game. It was really entertaining.
I can't wait to find put who they play next week. Also, San Diego is playing against Denver. I am sure our San Diego staffs are cheering for Chargers.

My fun investment manage to gain 1.45% in the first 10 days of trading. Considering many banks give you 0.1% interest in a year, this is great. 2013 was a great time to invest, I wonder what 2014 holds for us.
We have reorganized R&D department. Today we are moving desks around to make sure we communicate better. I am distancing more with actual development group.
I am traveling to San Diego starting next Monday to assist our San Diego staffs in building the web contents for http://www.sandiegotown.com/ which is the most popular Japanese language community portal about San Diego.
Pacific Software Publishing, Inc. has inherited this portal when we purchased San Diego based web development company. It is a new venture to use since we have never operated advertisement revenue based web site.
If you have a business or you know a business in San Diego area and would like us to feature on the web site, please let me know.
It is fun to look at Pompom's impression.
Can you put captions on those photos?
Tiny likes to sit on my lap during the meeting. I always thought he is sitting comfortably, but I just got this picture showing that he is actually slipping down.
My first car after I graduated from the college in 1983 was Nissan Fairlady Z 2x2 which I bought for 270,000 yen (back then it was about $1,000). It was a wonderful car and run very well.
Today, I saw 1975 Datsun 280Z near my office … Interior is in bad shape and people wanted $4,000 for to. It might be fun if it runs and get it for cheaper. I will see if i can ask for a test drive soon.
This is a nice picture of either Mayumi or Tiny. I like the one on the left.

It is a beautiful night.
It is Sunday here in Seattle, but it is the first work day in japan and we are expecting huge Internet traffic from Japan. All key persons are at work at PSPINC to make sure we are ready for anything.
It is 9:00am in Japan and the traffic is starting to pickup. We will be here until 11:00am Japan time unless something happens. (Fingers Crossed)
I played the first golf og 2014. I shout 96 like I did at the end of the year. But I feel I played better today ... At least the first half. I shot 43 for the first nine. That is very good for me. I shout 53 I the back. That is very bad even for me. The temperature went down a lot in the afternoon. I was bone chilling cold. I cannot wait fir the temperature to hit over 50F.

Went to lunch at Mon Ga cafe for the first time. It is located next to Swish Swish restart. There are two Taiwanese restaurants and one Tea place call SUMACHA next to each other.
I don't think I will go to Mon Ga again. The food came out slow, the portion is small and the taste is very weak. I will go to Cafe Ori or Little Taipei before i will go Mon Ga.
There was a graffiti at the park I walk with my dog every morning. This morning the graffiti was done (completely) and I saw a truck parked with sign said "Graffiti Busters". It is great to see the graffiti was cleaned up but at the same time, it is sad that we need services like this.
Also, last two days, there is a dog poop left on the park which I cleaned up for last two days. Come on, if you own a dog, take care of it.

Osechi-ryōri are traditional Japanese New Year foods. The tradition started in the Heian Period. Osechi are easily recognizable by their special boxes called jūbako, which resemble bentō boxes.
Those are made by Nadaman and they costs about $400. I won those at the golf tournament and I arranged them t be delivered to may parents house.
The landscaping is almost complete … I think. the house looks much bigger and very clean looking. It's dome by Berg's Landscaping.

I went to North Bend outlet mall today. It was very clear and the sale was better then any of the sale days. Also, unlike Seattle or Bellevue, it was clear.
