I sometime wonder who Microsoft is competing?
Today, Microsoft looks like competing with Best Buy, Staples and Walmart. It's kind of sad to see the software company like Microsoft … Oh, I forgot, Microsoft is (or trying to be) "Device and Services Company" … What is that mean?
I am going shopping … I do all my shopping online.
It's a beautiful day. I took those images when I was walking dongs at Kelsey Creek Park in Bellevue, this morning. It beats shopping any day.
You get what you pay for ... By if you pay $119 for your laptop computer, you cannot really go wrong much with that. Sure it is not powerful nor have much memory or storage, but you only paid $119.

Do you think it is ago pod idea for any Volkswagen (VW) group automaker to actively push ear end sales marketing? I understand VW group are being humored in negative publicities but I still see TV and Internet advertisement for year end sales vent. I personally think it might be a good idea to be just quiet. But that is my opinion. What do you think?
Do you even know which car brands are part of VW group?
Have a very happy Thanksgiving!!!
This is not Photoshopped.
Have a safe and happy 4 day weekend.
See you all on Monday.
I ordered iPad Pro and I have received it yesterday and start using it. I was hoping to get the pen and keyboard with it but they dod not come. I check the "Order Status" on pine and found they will not arrive for next 3 to 4 weeks.
In addition, I found out my Mac Pro running 10.7.5 (unable to upgraded to the latest OS because of the age) is not going to able to install latest version of iTunes. That means, I cannot connect iPad pro to my Mac. Now I need to buy a new Mac … I could buy a PC and install latest iTunes. Either way, it will cost me more.
Diesel Models are Internationally still available.
Diesel models are not available in the US.
Now EPA believe VW's 3.0L Diesel engines are cheating the emission as well. With this news, VW group including Audi and Porsche deleted any information about their diesel engine models from the web site.
VW is not doing a good job controlling and managing their problem. I thought I can learn from them but the problem is way bigger than anything anyone can control.
Flickr Uploader is slow!!!
I found that Flicker.com allow you to have free 1,000GB (1TB) cloud storage for your pictures. So, I decided to create an account and start uploading images.
To upload many many images, I download Flickr Uploader for Mac. When you upload about 500 pictures … I worked fine. Now I am trying to upload 9,300 images. IT is running slow as a snail. I think it takes about 5 to 10 seconds per image. At this page, it will take over 13 hours …

It's Friday already. I hope you all have a good weekend.
It looks poisonous … I found them around the company. I need to make sure dogs don't eat or get close to them.
I think this one is called Fly Agaric (Amanita muscaria).
One of our trees has tipped over during the storm. I noticed it this morning. I have to hire someone to clean this mess.
In my last trip to Japan (日本)、I flew Jet Star from Kansai international(関西国際空港)to Narita Airport(成田空港). This was a second or third time I flew this airline. Although, I used it for Japan domestic flight(国内線), it is a LLC (Low Cost Carrier) airline based in Australia. This trip cost me about the half what it would have cost if I took train(新幹線).
I am very impressed with their price and services. Currently they only fly in and out of Honolulu, but I wish they fly to Seattle.

When you do thing the same way all day, everyday, often you do not know why. You just do it because you have been doing it the same way as long as you remember.
Is it possible that you can do things better?
If you ca, why don't you try it?
In order to try something new, you need a tool to do so. You need a company which can do the development quickly and inexpensively. PSPINC is that company. We can make things that you only dream about. Just give yourself a chance to do something better.
Status quo
Status quo is a Latin phrase meaning the existing state of affairs, particularly with regards to social or political issues. In the sociological sense, it generally applies to maintain or change existing social structure and values.
It must be hard for German people to know VW cheated on their diesel engines for emission, because diesel engine was invented by German in Germany.
When you run a company that creates, invents and innovates, sometimes sales and marketing run ahead of R&D. It is important to make sure you created works the way the marketing will be saying.
I just received the following email for the Web development.
I understand what they are trying communicate but I think this is a bad message. Sure, you don't want to compete in just price but your price should be competitive. Also, the fact that this is sent to me, they have done do research on who they are sending this email to. They just purchased the mailing list and blasted thermal. It's just stupid.
A lot of Internet services are starting to appear like a commodity. If you like to stand out, you really need to come up with the message that resonate with people. You need to make sure you are
- Price
- Reliability
- Track Record
- Knowledge
Plus
- Something Special
And you need to convey that message in a shot time and this message is not it.
Yes, there are thousands of web-designers out there. And sure, they offer you
a great price, but what's the real cost?
Many of these fly-by-night developers don't deliver their work on time and
even when they don't just disappear completely, seem unable to return your
calls or emails promptly. And of course, the high quality they promised is
seldom there when they do actually deliver your website or mobile app.
We don't compete on price. We do compete on quality, communication,
on-time delivery and overall professionalism.
Every Sunday, Pompom gets shampooed. He is not too happy but he smells good.
Lasst day of my trip before my 7:00pm flight back to the US, I had time to kill. So, I visited Narita-san Temple. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Narita-san ) I have never been there and although it was rainy, you cam tell this is one temple you should visit. From the Narita Station to the temple, there are many street shops and old buildings. It is about 15 minuets walk, but it is something to remember. It can almost take you back hundreds of years in to the past.
Enjoy the pictures.
TV Prices in general are going down rapidly, even TV with smart features like Internet connections and online channel capabilities. What TV needs is more IoT (Internet of Things) features like TV watching logs and viewer analysis. Internet browsing and PC display features. 4K and even 8K might be in order. Also, TV manufacturers should produce their own PC Video Display Card. Also, having multiple TVs act as one giant display is a good features to have. Also think about the fact more and more people will cancel their cable and satellite TV and telephone service to their home. All people going have is an Internet connection.
If you don't do anything, it will be a price war and at the end nobody will win.
I had a cracked sea urchin (uni) for the first time. I'm flat it was not moving.
Pompom will be 13 years old end of this month. I hope he will have more healthy years ahead with Tiny.

Many people in Japan do not like the taste of Dr Pepper and root beer. But I like it.
It's like people in the US do not like Natto. I'm starting to like Natto too.

I have been using 32bit MacPro for as long as I remember. I have no problem with this computer but some of the websites and application programs are starting to act up. I guess I need to upgrade my desktop computer.
Just to clarify, this computer is so old, I cannot upgrade my OS.
I arrived at Vancouver about an hour ago. I still have 3 more hours before my flight to Seatle. I just took shower. Now o need to take a nap.

I'm leaving japan today ... My next trip to japan should be next year.
See you!!!
Tonight is the last night in Japan. I am heading back to Seattle via Vancouver tomorrow. I miss PSP dogs.
Can you believe Hilton Hotel Narita charges to use Internet in your room. I paid of the Internet and the first thing that I am using the Internet is to complain about it on the Internet. I chose cheaper access that is 900Yen ($7.50) per day.Not much but in this day and age, it is stupid to charge separate fee for an Internet.
I stayed at JAL Nikko Hotel and ANA Crowne Plaza at Narita before. They provided free Internet.
What do you think you should eat in Kobe?
Meetings are done on Kobe. Tokyo is the center but not everything.
