陸蓮根（おかれんこん）
オクラの別名です。
家の庭に咲いていました。
葵科ですがこの時期仲間の花を方々で見かけます。
健康食品ですね。

花の部分のトリミング写真です。
オクラは花の後の実を頂くものとばかり思っていましたが花を食べる種類もあるのですね。
先日親戚から頂いたと食卓に出ましたが花弁を塩を振りかけただけで頂きます。
花もオクラの味がしました。
食べるオクラの花「花オクラ」というのだそうです。

花として十分通じますね。
今までは食べるばかりで全く花のことは知りませんでした。
