我が家の田んぼの側の道端に毎年咲くのですが撮らないとと思いながら田植えに勤しんでいる間にピークを逃してしまいました。
もう花の咲き終わりが多かったのですがかろうじて間に合いました。
別名ストロベリーキャンドルですが、私は、この名前の方が好きです。

こちらに咲いている赤爪草よりだいぶ面長で色が濃いですね・・・。

この花の長さは短い方です。
