スイレン６回目はスターブライト。

'Starbright'
1997年にアメリカのストロウン (Kirk Strawn)が作出した品種。
花色はうすいピンク色で花びらの幅は狭く、一つ一つの花のボリュームはなく地味な印象だが、大変花つきがよい。
数輪同時に開花することも多く、次々とよく開花する。スイレン池にぜひ導入したい品種。
耐寒性スイレン。

ハスの花に比べれば小ぶりですがふくよかなハスの花に対し引き締まった花と言う感じもします。
