日本(にほん)には屋台(やたい)経営(けいえい)するレストランがあります。そこで()られているものは、うどんやそばにラーメン、おでんなどです。屋台(やたい)一般的(いっぱんてき)にお(みせ)()べるよりは(やす)傾向(けいこう)にありますが、屋台(やたい)発祥(はっしょう)でそこから店舗(てんぽ)になったレストランも(おお)くあります。


日本(にほん)()機会(きかい)があれば屋台(やたい)(さが)してみても面白(おもしろ)いと(おも)います。(わたし)日本(にほん)()んでいたとき、仕事(しごと)上司(じょうし)()んだ(あと)屋台(やたい)でうどんを()べるのが()きでした。アメリカにいてそのような経験(けいけん)をすることはありませんが、屋台(やたい)(さむ)(ふゆ)(あたた)かいものが()べられるので(たの)しみでした。


Food Stalls (Yatai) 


In Japan, some restaurants are run from food stalls. The food sold from there include udon, soba, ramen, and oden. Food stalls generally tend to be cheaper than eating at a restaurant. However, many restaurants originated from food stalls and became stores from there.

If you ever have a chance to visit Japan, it would be interesting to try to find a yatai. When I lived in Japan, I liked to eat udon noodles at a yatai after having drinks with my boss from work. I haven't had that experience in the U.S., but I was looking forward to eating at a yatai because I could have something warm to eat during the cold winter.
